week 2 assignment 3

Backward design is an educational planning approach. The first step in backward design is when we set long term goals and prioritize what we want to teach. Teachers need to  give their students the tools that they need to take what they know and what they will learn, and make connections. It is so important to give the students the tools and skills they need in order to take what they know to unfamiliar situations.  The second step is when we assess our students. The last step is when we plan learning experiences and seeing if our goals were accomplished.
